With we left Agua Fria camp to make our way to Clear Creek. The journey took us back through Fish Camp where we completed our three (short) hours of conservation work and then through Phillips Junction where we picked up food (and those in the know had opportunity for a  shower).

The Crew 566 generally got up at 5:00 or 5:30AM which got us on the trail by 7:00 or so.

The Conservation work consisted of trail work: removing roots, striping logs, making water bars, smashing rocks.

Matt. Note how the work crew participates. The smart ones have a tool, so they can lean on it when watching actual work being done.
